What does the PTA do?

The PTA hosts two Book Fairs each school year: one in the Fall and one in the Spring. The more books that are purchased, the more Scholastic Dollars our teachers earn to spend on their own classrooms through Scholastic!

Field Day is one of the most exciting PTA-hosted events that students look forward to every year! Each class gears up for multiple stations of outdoor fun. Parent PTA volunteers make this event one of the best!

EPiC is proud of the many, many field trips that our students get to experience at our school. Last year, we helped fund 15+ field trips for our students and teachers. And it's all possible thanks to our generous PTA!

One of the best PTA committees has to be our Family Events Committee, which is charged with hosting EPiC family get-togethers. We plan a few events each school year that help establish our awesome EPiC community and provide all-around good fun.

As part of the National PTA Association, we participate in the National PTA Reflections program. We get to witness the creativity of our students, and sometimes, they even receive awards for their outstanding work. In the past, we have had students recognized at the national level.

The PTA is responsible each year for putting together the annual school yearbook that reflects back on all the fun the students have had. Each year we host a Cover Design Contest. The cover of each yearbook is designed by one of our very own EPiC students.
